Intensive Outpatient Program
Accredited as well by the Joint Commission on Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Cornerstone’s Intensive Outpatient Program supports those persons who do not require 24-hour care in residential treatment, but are looking for structured help with chemical dependency.
Everyone’s situation is different. An addiction assessment, performed by Cornerstone’s team of health-care professionals, plays an important role in the development of an individualized treatment plan.
Participant Requirements
Clients must be at least 18 years of age and chemically dependent. The client must be motivated to change, attend all meetings, and agree to random alcohol/drug screens. Compulsions to use should be controllable for the patient to participate in this program. There cannot be substantial medical or psychological problems and the home environment must be stable and free from others who use. In addition, the patient must have reliable transportation and compulsions to use should be controllable.
